PESHAWAR:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Pakistan People's Party leader and former Director General Livestock Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Alamzaib Khan Mohmand said that the real role behind the country's development is bureaucracy. He said that Pakistan, especially Punjab and Sindh, has made significant progress, thank God. Roads, motorways, buildings, industries, educational institutions, hospitals and developed lands in Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi and other cities are clear evidence of this development. Punjab has developed about 75 percent of its land and Sindh more than 80 percent, which is a great achievement. He said that the real role behind the country's development is bureaucracy, which is the backbone of the state. He said that governments keep changing, but if the bureaucracy is on the same page, the journey of development does not stop.  This is why projects in major provinces are moving forward continuously. He said that I request that now is the time to start big, strategic and 8 to 10-year projects along with small-time projects, especially water reserves and better use, local production of electricity and energy, complete reform of the canal system (Irrigation), effective planning on rivers to prevent floods, restoration of barren and degraded lands, self-sufficiency in agriculture, milk, food and industry. If integrated and long-term planning is done in these sectors, the entire province, indeed the entire country, can become self-sufficient in food, energy and industry. Pakistan Peoples Party leader and former Director General Livestock Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Alamzaib Khan Mohmand said in an interview with Global Times Media Europe that it is a humble request to all bureaucrats, technical experts and senior officers to work with a big vision in their respective fields so that the coming generations can get a strong, secure and self-reliant Pakistan.
