Responsibilities of a journalist

The responsibilities of a journalist include truthfulness, impartiality, and providing accurate information to the public; they have to get to the bottom of events, conduct research, monitor social changes, and report factually and objectively in order to raise awareness in society and avoid rumors and misinformation, for which analysis free from personal attachment is essential. 

Key responsibilities:

(1) Providing facts: Providing true and accurate information to the public after research.

(2) Impartiality: Reporting above personal emotions and interests.

(3) Research and investigation: Not just reporting events, but knowing their real truth.

(4) Social awareness: Monitoring social changes and important issues and informing the public.

(5) Balance and analysis: Presenting a comprehensive and realistic analysis of issues.

(6) Ethics pass: Avoiding the chaos caused by false news and looking at the interests of society.

 (7) Voice of the People: Bringing to the fore and interpreting the problems of the people.

A journalist of integrity and according to his responsibilities, the job of a journalist is not just to report news but to present the facts in a way that does not spread misinformation in society and that he remains a representative of the people instead of becoming a part of power.
