AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF TรœRKIYE CALLS ON CHIEF JUSTICE OF PAKISTAN

ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,His Excellency Dr. ฤฐrfan NeziroฤŸlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Tรผrkiye to Pakistan, called on Hon’ble the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Mr. Justice Yahya Afridi, at the Supreme Court of Pakistan today. In order to keep the relevant ministries of the Government in loop on the forthcoming high-level judicial exchange between the two countries, the meeting was also attended by Secretary, Ministry of Law and Justice and representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The interaction took place in the backdrop of the forthcoming visit of the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Tรผrkiye to Pakistan, scheduled for March 2026. During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is expected to be signed between the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Constitutional Court of Tรผrkiye, signifying a major step forward in structured institutional cooperation between the two judiciaries.
