ISLAMABAD:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) is pleased to announce that, with the approval of His Excellency the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in his capacity as Chancellor of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, President, IIUI, has been appointed as the Acting Rector of the University with immediate effect.Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed has expressed his sincere gratitude to His Excellency the President of Pakistan for the trust reposed in his leadership, reaffirming his commitment to continue serving the University with vision, diligence, and sincerity for the welfare of its faculty, officers, employees, and students. He reiterated his resolve to further strengthen the University’s role in advancing academic excellence and in contributing meaningfully towards the intellectual uplift of the Muslim Ummah.His stewardship has consistently reflected a forward-looking vision grounded in principled leadership, academic excellence, and international engagement.
