Inspector General of Prisons Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rehan Gul Khattak visited District Jail Swat.

On this occasion, he was welcomed by Superintendent District Jail Swat Ayub Bacha, ADC Swat Mohibullah Khan Yousafzai.

SWAT:(Special Correspondent)According to Global Times Media Europe, Inspector General of Prisons Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mr. Rehan Gul Khattak paid a detailed visit to District Jail Swat. Upon reaching the jail, a decorated contingent presented a guard of honor to the distinguished guest. Superintendent District Jail Swat Mr. Ayub Bacha, Additional Deputy Commissioner Swat Mr. Mohibullah Khan Yousafzai and DIG Jails Malakand Region Mr. Baitullah Mohmand welcomed him. During the visit, the distinguished IG formally inaugurated the Missing Facilities Project in District Jail Swat while the construction projects of DIG Office and Residential Block were inaugurated. XEN (C&W) gave a comprehensive and detailed briefing to the IG regarding the progress of the construction work and other details. The Inspector General of Prisons also closely inspected various departments of the prison, including the prison hospital, meeting room, juvenile correctional school, detox center, prison industry, women vocational center, general barracks for prisoners, cook house and PCO desk. Later, the IG addressed the open court of the prisoners and directly heard the problems and complaints of the prisoners, while also issuing instructions to the concerned officers for immediate action. At the end of the visit, the IG distributed certificates of appreciation and cash prizes among the officers and officials who showed excellent performance and advised them to perform their duties with the same passion and hard work in the future.
