Day-9 of PPST 2026 at KPJA: Masterclass in Criminal Rules and Record Management
PESHAWAR:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The academic proceedings for Day-9 of the Pre-Promotion Statutory Training (PPST) at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy (KPJA) focused on deepening the participants' understanding of the regulatory framework and administrative precision required in the senior judiciary. The day commenced with a spiritual start and the regular "Faculty Hour," allowing the 24 participating judicial officers to engage in constructive dialogue with the Academy’s faculty regarding the program’s academic progress.
The morning was dedicated to a technical deep dive into the High Court Rules & Orders – Criminal. Through a collaborative Study Circle, the officers examined the relevant provisions that govern the conduct and procedure of criminal courts. This was followed by highly interactive Group Presentations, where participants applied these rules to practical scenarios, demonstrating their readiness to ensure procedural compliance and institutional discipline in their future roles as Additional District & Sessions Judges.
The afternoon session shifted focus toward the vital administrative task of Maintenance of Record. Mr. Zaeem Ahmed, Additional District & Sessions Judge (ADJ), served as the resource person, providing specialized guidance on the classification and consignment of judicial files. He also led a detailed discussion on the sensitive process of the reconstruction of lost or damaged judicial records, a critical competency for maintaining the integrity of the judicial process.
