Academic Activities of Day Thirty-Three of Pre-Service Training for Civil Judges-cum-Judicial Magistrates / Illaqa Qazis (2026)

Peshawar:(Special Correspondent)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The thirty-third day of the Pre-Service Training Programme at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Judicial Academy combined doctrinal learning with technical exposure to forensic and medical institutions.The day commenced with recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by “Today’s Mission” and a feedback session conducted by the faculty.The morning academic session focused on High Court Rules & Orders, where participants engaged in structured discussion on procedural compliance, court practices, and effective application of rules in judicial proceedings.Following the health break, the trainee judicial officers visited the Forensic Science Laboratory Peshawar (FSL). During the visit, they toured various forensic sections and were briefed on scientific examination procedures, evidence preservation techniques, chain of custody protocols, and the role of forensic reports in criminal trials. The visit enhanced their understanding of the evidentiary value and technical aspects of forensic analysis.Subsequently, the participants visited Khyber Medical University, where they explored relevant academic and forensic medicine departments. The delegation met Hakim Khan Afridi, Chairman, Department of Forensic Medicine, who briefed them on medico-legal procedures, autopsy protocols, injury analysis, and expert testimony in courts.The visits provided practical insight into the scientific and medical dimensions of criminal justice, strengthening the participants’ capacity to evaluate expert evidence with greater clarity and confidence.Day Thirty-Three reflected a comprehensive approach to judicial training, integrating procedural knowledge with technical exposure to allied institutions essential for effective administration of justice.
