IIUI Assigns Charge of Alumni Office to Dr. Hafiz Abid Masood; Alumni Core Committee Reconstituted

Islamabad:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has assigned the responsibilities of Incharge, Alumni Office, Directorate of University Advancement & Promotion, to Dr. Hafiz Abid Masood, Assistant Professor (BPS-19), Department of English, Faculty of Languages & Literature, with immediate effect and until further orders.Alongside this, the Alumni Core Committee has been reconstituted to support and streamline alumni-related initiatives and engagement. The committee will be convened by Dr. Hafiz Abid Masood and comprises Dr. Taimia Sabiha (Assistant Professor, FUD), Dr. Hameeda Akhter (Assistant Professor, FMS), Dr. Baber Amin (Lecturer, IIIE), Mr. Abdul Aziz (Additional Director, President Office), and Mr. Saqib Rashid (Deputy Director, HRM) as members.The committee will be responsible for overseeing and advancing alumni affairs, including strengthening alumni engagement and maintaining a comprehensive alumni database, facilitating contributions and the development of an Alumni Endowment Fund, organizing strategic events and networking opportunities, and enhancing communication with alumni, including those based abroad. It will also focus on recognition and awards programmes, as well as ensuring structured planning, sustainability, and effective monitoring and evaluation of alumni-related initiatives.The President, IIUI, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, expressed confidence that the reconstituted committee, under the leadership of Dr. Hafiz Abid Masood, will play a vital role in strengthening alumni relations and fostering meaningful connections between the university and its graduates.
