Strengthening Gender-Responsive Policing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar:(Special Correspondent)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,UN Women and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police  reaffirmed their strong partnership to advance access to justice and promote gender-responsive policing across the province.Building on key achievements, including enhanced capacity of police personnel, increased representation of women officers, and institutional reforms—the collaboration continues to strengthen systems that better serve women and marginalized communities.Discussions focused on expanding capacity-building efforts, improving investigation and evidence practices in GBV cases, strengthening data systems, and enhancing awareness of services such as the Emergency Helpline for Marginalized Groups (EHM).This partnership reflects a shared commitment to building safer, more inclusive, and accountable policing systems in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
