Secretary Social Welfare Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sharif Hussain visits the office of the Commission for the Dignity of Women.

 On this occasion, the Secretary Social Welfare met with the Chairperson of the Commission for the Dignity of Women, Dr. Samira Shams. 

Peshawar:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Secretary Social Welfare, Special Education and Women Empowerment Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sharif Hussain visited the office of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission for the Dignity of Women, where he had an important meeting with the Chairperson, Dr. Samira Shams. In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the protection of women's rights, elimination of harassment at the workplace, and further strengthening the effective grievance redressal system. On this occasion, Secretary of the Women's Commission, Shazia Atta and Director Program, Amina Darni, gave a detailed briefing to Secretary Sharif Hussain on the overall performance of the commission, ongoing initiatives, awareness campaigns and the complaint system established for the protection of women. Dr. Samira Shams also highlighted the performance of the commission and ongoing initiatives, while expressing determination to make mutual cooperation between different institutions more effective so that better protection, convenience and justice can be provided to women. On this occasion, Dr.  Samira Shams expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Sharif Hussain for visiting and appreciating the efforts of the Commission to protect women's rights. She expressed the hope that this mutual cooperation would further strengthen the efforts for the protection and empowerment of women.
