Mission KP | Day 03 | Strengthening Women-Friendly Policing

Peshawar:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Deputy Country Representative, Ms. Fahmida Khan, continued the Mission KP engagements with a meaningful session alongside senior leadership of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police .The session brought together the CCPO (Chief Capital City Police) Peshawar Dr. Main Saeed, SSP (Senior Superintendent of Police) Investigation Ms. Aisha Gul, AIG (Assistant Inspector General) Gender Ms. Anila Naz, AIG Establishment Ms Sinai Shamrooz, AIG Telecommunications Ms Shazia Shahid, and other senior women police officers—reflecting a strong institutional commitment to gender-responsive policing in the province.A key highlight of the day was the inauguration of the daycare facility at the Women Police Station Peshawar, led by the CCPO. This important step supports a more enabling and inclusive work environment for women in law enforcement.UN Women Pakistan continues to advance efforts that strengthen women’s participation, leadership, and access to safe, gender-responsive justice systems.
