Weekly CPC on “Post Dural Puncture Headache (PDPH)” by Department of Anaesthesia GKMC/BKMC-MTI, Swabi.

Swabi:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The Department of Anaesthesia at GKMC/BKMC-MTI conducted a Clinicopathological Conference (CPC) focusing on Post Dural Puncture Headache (PDPH), highlighting its clinical significance and management challenges. Dr. Balaj Khan, Consultant Anaesthesia, delivered a presentation to the participants.Dr. Balaj Khan explained that PDPH is a common complication following spinal and epidural anaesthesia. He discussed various aspects of the topic, including its definition, pathophysiology, mechanism, incidence, and available treatment modalities. Both invasive and non-invasive management options were reviewed in detail. The presentation was followed by an interactive Q&A session.The CPC was attended by faculty members, healthcare professionals, and students, fostering an engaging academic environment.At the end of the CPC, a collective prayer was offered for the departed souls of the mother of
