H.E. Pakistan High Commissioner to Maldives Vice Admiral (Rtd) Faisal Rasool Lodhi along with Madam Humaira Lodhi and High Commission officials visited Shaheed Ali School on 12th April 26.

According to Global times News Agancy Europe,H.E. Vice Admiral (R) Faisal Rasul Lodhi, the High Commissioner of Pakistan to Maldives along with Madam Humera Lodhi and the High Commission’s officials, visited Shaheed Ali School on 12 April 26. This a new government owned school with capacity for more than 2000 students (including differently abled children) which was inaugurated by the President of Maldives in Jan 26. The delegation was warmly welcomed by HE Aishath Wadheefa, State Minister for Education, Mr. Ismail Saudulla, Superintendent, Ministry of Education along with the principle, senior faculty members, and students of the school. During the visit, the High Commission’s delegation interacted with students including talented differently-abled students appreciating their enthusiasm and achievements. Discussions were held with the Ministry’s and school management to explore avenues for collaboration and cooperation. School’s administration also presented a proposed plan for equipping the school with special equipment and other facilities for differently abled children.  The High Commissioner reaffirmed government of Pakistan’s commitment to strengthen cooperation and support in the fields of education and social development in Maldives. He underscored the importance of inclusive education and capacity building particularly in supporting differently-abled students. Both sides expressed keen interest in fostering institutional linkages, promoting student and teacher exchanges, and exploring joint initiatives that contribute to long-term educational growth and mutual understanding between Pakistan and the Maldives.
