Italy:(International Desk) Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas Affairs for Italy Ikramuddin said that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have saved the region from a potential major conflict, which is commendable. He said that the use of force does not solve problems but increases complications. He said that Pakistan demonstrated responsible and effective diplomacy to reduce tensions in the Middle East. He said that a strong multilateral system is needed to deal with global and regional challenges. On the International Day of Diplomacy, Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas Affairs for Italy Ikramuddin said in his message that multilateral cooperation and effective diplomacy are indispensable for establishing lasting peace. He added that a fair resolution of long-standing disputes in accordance with UN resolutions is the need of the hour.
