A delegation of students studying at Quaid-e-Azam University met with Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan at Parliament House.

During the meeting, the students informed the Deputy Chairman Senate in detail about educational issues, scholarships, research opportunities, hostel facilities and other difficulties faced.

Islamabad (Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, a delegation of students studying at Quaid-e-Azam University met with Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan at Parliament House. During the meeting, the students briefed the Deputy Chairman Senate in detail about educational issues, scholarships, research opportunities, hostel facilities and other difficulties faced by them. The students apprised the Deputy Chairman Senate about the issues faced by them, including scholarships and other issues, and stressed the need to increase government support in the education sector and promote student-friendly policies. On this occasion, Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan said that education is the foundation of the development, prosperity and stability of any nation and the young generation is the country’s valuable asset and bright future. He said that the Upper House has always played an effective role in the promotion of education, welfare of youth and solving the problems faced by educational institutions. On various occasions, the Senate has highlighted the problems of students, scholarships, higher education budget and challenges faced by universities. The Deputy Chairman Senate said that solving the problems of students is a common responsibility of all of us and the current government is taking serious steps to provide maximum facilities and relief to the youth. He said that he is in constant touch with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and other relevant institutions to increase student scholarships, promote research activities and provide modern educational facilities. He added that links with various universities are being made effective so that more and more students can be provided with scholarships, research grants and quality educational opportunities. The Deputy Chairman Senate expressed his determination that providing quality education, a better educational environment and equal opportunities to the youth is among the top priorities of the government. The Deputy Chairman Senate urged the students to focus all their attention on education, research and positive activities so that they can play an effective role in the development of the country and nation in the future.
