Islamia College Peshawar Hosts 19th EMS International Conference on Sustainable Prosperity.

Peshawar:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The 19th EMS International Research Conference on “Multidisciplinary Approaches to Sustainable Prosperity” was successfully held at the EDC Room, Department of Management Sciences, Islamia College Peshawar, in a hybrid format with both in-person and virtual participation.The conference was jointly organized by Experts in Management and Social Sciences (EMS) and Experts Centre for Market and Policy Research (ECMPR) in collaboration with Islamia College Peshawar and Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar. Reflecting ECMPR’s mission of promoting evidence-based policymaking, economic freedom, innovation, and sustainable prosperity through research and dialogue, the conference brought together participants from academia, policy circles, industry, chambers of commerce, SMEs, media, and government institutions to deliberate on practical and inclusive solutions for long-term economic growth and social development.
The conference was graced by Prof. Dr. Ahmad-ur-Rahman Saljoqi, Vice Chancellor, Islamia College Peshawar, who delivered the closing remarks, emphasizing the importance of research, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing contemporary economic challenges.The opening session featured remarks by Dr. Atiq-ur-Rehman (Managing Director, EMS), followed by keynote addresses from Nafeesa Hashmi (Maryville University, USA), Dr. Sadia Sheikh (University of Malaya, Malaysia), Dr. Aruna Dayanatha (CRP, Sri Lanka), and Atta-ur-Rahman (Jamia Rahmania Dargai, KP).
The event was also attended by prominent figures including Atif Shehzad, renowned businessman and President FMCG, Malak Khalid, former President of Peshawar Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Sahibzada Aamir Khalil from AVT Khyber, along with other distinguished representatives from media, banks, companies, and government institutions.The EMS International Research Conference, a flagship annual initiative, has now reached its 19th edition, establishing itself as a credible platform for research dissemination, academic collaboration, and policy dialogue at both national and international levels. The conference also aligns with ECMPR’s vision of fostering a prosperous, peaceful, and economically empowered society through knowledge exchange, academic partnerships, and policy-oriented research initiatives.This year, 90 research papers were submitted, out of which 63 were accepted after a rigorous review process. Selected papers are being presented in technical sessions over two days.
The event underscored the importance of academic partnerships, knowledge exchange, and innovation-driven dialogue, reaffirming the role of research in shaping a prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable future.
