Only Through Mutual Cooperation Between Institutions and the Public Can These Diseases Be Controlled, Says Deputy Commissioner
Shangla:(Special Correspondent)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,An important meeting on dengue and malaria control was held in Shangla under the supervision of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department and the Deputy Commissioner of Shangla. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Commissioner of Shangla.
During the meeting, District Health Officer Dr. Nazar Muhammad gave a detailed briefing on preventive measures against dengue and malaria in sensitive areas of the district. The briefing highlighted the current situation of the diseases, precautionary measures, and ongoing activities aimed at controlling their spread.Assistant Commissioners from all tehsils of the district, malaria surveillance officers, and heads of various departments attended the meeting.The Deputy Commissioner of Shangla directed education department officials to organize special awareness sessions in schools so that students could be fully informed about dengue, malaria, and methods of prevention.He stated that effective action against dengue and malaria is a collective responsibility, and these diseases can only be controlled through mutual cooperation between all institutions and the public.
