HD Brig Retd Muhammad Abrar Khan hold introductory meeting with in-charge nurses.

MARDAN:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Hospital Director MMC Brigadier (Retd) Dr. Muhammad Abrar Khan held a formal introductory meeting with the nursing in-charges to outline his vision for hospital management and patient care. The session was attended by Nursing Director Noor Zada and in-charge nurses. As a gesture of welcome and to mark his assumption of office, the nursing staff presented a floral bouquet to the Hospital Director, expressing their commitment to working under his leadership.During the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Abrar Khan said that nursing is a noble profession and nurses are the backbone of any healthcare setup. He noted that the quality of patient care and overall clinical outcomes are directly linked to the dedication of the nursing staff. Highlighting the global significance of the profession, he remarked that the demand for skilled nurses is high both within the country and internationally. Reflecting on his own professional journey, the Hospital Director shared that he has personally learned a great deal from nurses throughout his medical practice and career.Addressing administrative matters, the Hospital Director advised the staff to channel their concerns through the Nursing Director while also noting that he remains accessible for direct communication when necessary. The HD expressed the committed to resolve ongoing accommodation issues. H said that for male nurses, the management is exploring the option of renting a private building to serve as a dedicated hostel.Furthermore, he announced plans to enhance spiritual and communal facilities, including the establishment of a prayer area for nurses and the construction of a mosque near the doctor flats.

Regarding financial incentives and infrastructure, the Hospital Director took note of the nurses' request for ER, CCU-ICU and critical area allowances. He affirmed that exceptional performance will be recognized through formal appreciation and cash awards for outstanding performers. He also announced that the existing female hostel structure will undergo a comprehensive overhaul to improve living conditions.The HD said that directives has been issued to clear wild growth across the hospital premises and hostel areas. Following this cleanup, he said that dedicated grounds for cricket and football will be established at suitable locations, providing the nursing staff with recreational avenues to maintain their well-being after their professional duties.In his concluding remarks, HD Dr. Muhammad Abrar Khan stressed that hospital administration is a joint responsibility rooted in teamwork, which is vital for delivering high-quality healthcare.
