AGIGA Announces Pen-Down and Lockdown Strike Across Shangla on May 20.

Shangla:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,The All Government Employees Grand Alliance (AGIGA), District Shangla, held an emergency meeting on May 18, 2026, at Government Primary School No. 1 Alpuri under the chairmanship of Islam Yousafzai, Chairman AGIGA District Shangla. The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran.Representatives of various government employees’ organizations attended the meeting, including Sajjad Ali, President Malgari Ustazan District Shangla; Fazal Wadud, President SST Welfare Association Shangla; Qari Abdullah, President Jamiat-e-Asatiza Shangla; Fazal Haqqani, representative of Wahdat-e-Asatiza; Shehenshah, President ACTA; Liaqat Ali, President Class-IV Employees; Muhammad Alam, President MTA; Shaukat Ali, President Class-IV Health Department; Adil Shah, representative of APTA; Muhammad عثمان,representative of APCA DC Office; and Muhammad Ali and Qari Akhtar Munir from the Qari Teachers Association District Shangla.The meeting unanimously decided that all government employees across District Shangla will observe a pen-down strike and lock government offices and schools at 11:30 AM on May 20, 2026.Following the strike, employees will gather at GPS No. 1 Alpuri and march in a rally towards Alpuri Press Club, where they will stage a protest demonstration in support of their demands.
Chairman AGIGA Islam Yousafzai urged all affiliated organizations to ensure full participation in the protest and demonstrate solidarity with government employees.He appealed to employees to remain united and actively participate in the movement for the protection of their rights.
