ITALY:(Special Correspondent) According to a foreign news agency, Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas Affairs for Italy Ikramuddin said that workers are the foundation of society's development, prosperity and economy, whose earnings have been declared the best livelihood in Islam. They ensure national development by playing a key role in infrastructure, industries and agriculture, as a result of which protecting the rights of workers and paying their wages on time is a moral and religious responsibility. On the occasion of May 1st, Labor Day, Special Assistant to the Ministry of Overseas Affairs for Italy Ikramuddin said in his message that workers not only feed their families with their hard work but also help the country to become economically self-sufficient. He said that he pays tribute to the sacrifices of the workers and expresses his best wishes for them. He said that it is impossible to imagine a modern world without workers. He further said that the hard work and sweat of the workers are the foundation of developed societies.
