ISLAMABAD:(Special Correspondent)According to Global Times Media Europe, reforms in the Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) As Chairman, Professor Dr. Muhammad Akmal has taken important steps to modernize the institution’s system which are commendable - he has established a highly transparent and merit-based system for providing research grants (funds) to scientists and researchers, so that only those projects that are beneficial to the country get funds. His personal visits and institutional visits have brought out research-oriented results - he emphasized that scientific research should not be limited to papers only, but such research should be done that benefits Pakistan’s local industries and strengthens the economy.  In this regard, he has also started academic-industrial meetings - he has organized various programs and science exhibitions and caravans in cities to instill a love of science among school and college students. Professor Dr. Muhammad Akmal expanded scholarship programs for talented students so that no intelligent student is deprived of scientific education due to lack of financial resources. In short, his best services revolve around promoting modern scientific research culture in Pakistan and finding scientific solutions to the country's agricultural problems. Professor Dr. Muhammad Akmal's services to the scientific sector as chairman are commendable. Such officers are a valuable asset to the country.
