Managing Director KPEF Briefs Secretary Higher Education on Foundation's Achievements and Future Initiatives.

PESHAWAR:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,A meeting of Mr. Muhammad Fakhre Alam, the Managing Director Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation (KPEF), was held with Dr. Amber Ali Khan, the Secretary Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Civil Secretariat, Peshawar. MD KPEF has briefed the Secretary HED about the KPEF. All the officers of Foundation were also present in the meeting. He was apprised on the ongoing activities, key functions, achievements and future strategic initiatives. The Managing Director highlighted KPEF’s role in promoting quality education through scholarships, institutional support, professional development programs and other educational interventions across the province. The forum was informed that professional development trainings for the faculty of private sector Higher Education Institutions were recently revived. Meetings with donors were held to seek support for the KPEF activities and recommendations of 03 KPEF Career Development Centers in the province have been obtained from the KPEF Advisory Committee. These Centers would soon be established after obtaining approval from the KPEF BoD in its upcoming meeting.The Secretary HED appreciated the efforts of Mr. Muhammad Fakhre Alam as MD KPEF in the uplifting of education promotional activities. The participants of the meeting have exchanged views on strengthening educational support mechanisms and enhancing the Foundation’s contribution towards improving access to quality education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It was informed that in a graceful ceremony (soon) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, being Chairman KPEF Board of Directors, will distribute Cheques of KPEF merit cum in-affordability Scholarships among students of BS / MS Programs.
