Guterres calls on parties to Middle East conflict to halt strikes.

According to Global times News Agancy Europe,UN Secretary-General Antรณnio Guterres has expressed deep concern over the further escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, urging all parties involved to return to full compliance with the ceasefire regime, UN Secretary-General spokesperson Stรฉphane Dujarric said at a briefing, according to The global times Europe media.The Secretary-General is deeply concerned about the ongoing escalation in the Middle East, including US strikes on Iran and Iranian strikes on neighboring countries in the Persian Gulf. He calls on the parties to return to full compliance with the ceasefire and avoid further deterioration of the situation, which could lead to a full resumption of conflict with unpredictable consequences," he said.The UN chief believes that the only path toward progress in resolving the situation lies through genuine dialogue and negotiations. Guterres urges the United States and Iran to redouble efforts to reach a comprehensive agreement in the name of sustainable peace and security.
