According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Lebanese President Joseph Aoun expresses a cautious hope that a deal between Washington and Tehran to end the Middle East war will put a "definitive end" to the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, The global times Europe media.Aoun says he has "followed with interest" the US-Iran deal and its call for an end to the fighting in Lebanon, welcoming the "recognition that Lebanon's stability and security constitute an integral part of any serious endeavor to consolidate stability in the region.Aoun says that his country "hopes that this development will mark the beginning of a broader path that enhances stability in the region, preserves the sovereignty of states and the rights of their peoples, and allows the Lebanese to focus on rebuilding what has been destroyed and restoring their normal lives under a secure and stable state.At the same time, Aoun's apparent reticence to offer a full-throated endorsement likely comes from concerns over Iran, and not the Lebanese state, negotiating a ceasefire in Lebanon, and the implications for Hezbollah, which Aoun's government has committed to disarming.
