Former Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi Meets Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood to Discuss Parachinar Airport

Islamabad:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,Former Federal Minister Sajid Hussain Turi met with Senator Muhammad Talha Mahmood, Chairman of the Senate Defence Committee, to discuss the upgrading and operationalization of Parachinar Airport.
During the meeting, both leaders emphasized the importance of making Parachinar Airport fully functional to improve connectivity, facilitate trade and tourism, and provide better travel facilities for the people of Kurram District and surrounding areas. They noted that the airport's restoration and modernization would contribute significantly to the region's socio-economic development and strengthen access during emergencies.Mr. Turi highlighted the longstanding demand of the local population for the airport's rehabilitation and urged the relevant authorities to expedite the necessary administrative and technical procedures. Senator Talha Mahmood assured his full support for the initiative and pledged to raise the matter with the concerned departments to ensure early progress.
