A protest rally was held against the publication of blasphemous material on Geo News.

The protest rally was led by the head of Tehreek-e-Ishq Mustafa, Pir Syed Inayat Ali Shah Badshah.

Peshawar:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, a protest rally was held in Peshawar under the supervision of the head of Tehreek-e-Ishq Mustafa International against the publication of blasphemous material on Geo News.  The protest rally started from Milad House Gulbahar Peshawar and ended at Lahori Chowk Peshawar passing through the designated routes. Saadat Hazrat, scholars, students, political and social figures and thousands of lovers of Mustafa participated in the protest rally. The participants in the protest rally held placards in their hands on which slogans were written against Geo News. The protest rally was addressed by Ayaz Ahmed Awan, Agha Syed Sultan Agha Badshah, Dr. Mumtaz Ali Shah Badshah, Abdul Kabir Karimi, and the head of Tehreek-e-Ishq Mustafa International, Hazrat Pir Syed Inayat Ali Shah Bacha, also known as Motiyon Wala Sarkar. Pir Syed Inayat Ali Shah Badshah said in his address that the government should shut down Geo News and take legal action against Geo News and those involved in publishing blasphemous material should be punished severely. Pir Syed Inayat Ali Badshah said that publishing and spreading blasphemous material is a grave sin in Sharia and a serious crime in law. Avoid sharing such material and report it immediately.  Perform your religious and national duty. Pir Syed Inayat Ali Shah Badshah said that blasphemy against the honor of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), is an intolerable and unforgivable crime for any Muslim. The Muslim Ummah is completely unanimous that no compromise can be made on the honor of the Prophet. Pir Syed Inayat Ali Badshah announced in his address that Tehreek-e-Ishq Mustafa rallies will be held in four provinces and, God willing, a protest by the women's wing will also be held in front of the Peshawar Press Club. He said that this is not the time for silence, but the time for consensus. Let us come out and raise our voice against the publication of blasphemous material against our Prophet (PBUH). He added that we are all ready to sacrifice our lives for the honor of the Prophet of Islam.
