The summary of regularization should be presented to the cabinet immediately. Faisal Mumtaz Barki

Ad hoc teachers are deprived of regularization due to administrative delay, which is regrettable. Provincial President Adhoc Teachers Movement KP

Peshawar:(Special Correspondent) According to Global Times Media Europe, Faisal Mumtaz Barki, Provincial President of Adhoc Teachers Movement Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that 14,001 adhoc teachers have been struggling for their legitimate and constitutional right to regularization for the last three and a half years. We were all selected in 2022 through the same ETEA test, the same merit and the same recruitment process, but were deprived of regularization only due to administrative delay, while other teachers who were selected with us have been regularized. The summary of regularization has not yet been presented to the provincial cabinet despite obtaining approval from the relevant departments, the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and the Ministerial Committee. It was also a source of great disappointment that it was not included in the agenda of the cabinet meeting on 24 July 2026. Therefore, it is announced in consultation with all 14,001 ad hoc teachers that a peaceful protest and sit-in will be held in front of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Peshawar on 29 July 2026 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM. Our only demand is that the summary of regularization be immediately presented to the cabinet for approval and formal orders be issued. If the demands are not accepted, the protest will continue until the notification of regularization.
