Certificate Distribution Ceremony Marks Successful Completion of Two-Month  Internship Training in Psychology at The University of Haripur

Haripur:(Special Representative)According to Global times News Agancy Europe,A certificate distribution and closing ceremony was held at the University of Haripur to mark the successful completion of a two-month Clinical Psychology Internship Training Program. The training was arranged by the Feel & Heal Psychological Centre. The participants of training were the students of the Department of Psychology,The University of Haripur, and Government Postgraduate Girls College, Haripur.The training program was designed to provide students with practical and professional exposure to key areas of clinical psychology, including psychological assessment and diagnosis, psychological testing, case conceptualization, and psychological intervention techniques. The internship provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen their theoretical knowledge through practical learning and professional guidance. 

 Professor Dr. Abid Farid , Vice Chancellor, The University of Haripur, was the chief guest of ceremony. Senior university officials, faculty members, director ORIC, and Chief Proctor attended the  program.Dr. Sajid Mehmood Alvi, Associate Professor, Department of Psychology,  The University of Haripur, and Chief Executive Officer of Feel & Heal Psychological Centre, served as the Principal Organizer and Resource Person of the training program. He provided the students with professional guidance and training in various aspects of clinical psychology throughout the two-month internship.In his address, Professor Dr. Abid Farid, Vice Chancellor of The University of Haripur appreciated the students for successfully completing the intensive training and encouraged them to continue developing their professional competencies. Professor Dr. Abid Farid thoroughly explained the role of Positive thinking in human life.He also highly appreciated the efforts of Dr. Sajid Mahmood Alvi for organizing and delivering the training program and for providing students with valuable practical exposure in the field of clinical psychology.The participating students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity and shared their experiences during the ceremony. They described the internship as a “life-changing experience”, highlighting that the practical knowledge, psychological testing skills, diagnostic understanding, and intervention techniques they learned would significantly contribute to their academic and professional careers.Speaking at the closing ceremony of 2 month internship training, Dr. Sajid Mahmood Alvi congratulated all the participants on the successful completion of their internship and expressed his hope that the training would help them become competent, ethical, and compassionate professionals in the field of psychology.
